Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and record patient vital signs.
  • Prepare for specimen collection and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Respond to patient phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments and surgeries efficiently.
  • Greet patients upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in process.
  • Record patient information in the EMR system and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform data entry tasks to document patient records within facility databases.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical Assistant License is mandatory.
  • Prior experience as a Medical Assistant is required.
  • OBGYN office experience is preferred.
  • Associate Degree is preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare practices, standards, and medical terminology.
  • Advanced record-keeping abilities and proficiency in related software, such as Greenway Intergy, Provider Flow, Phreesia.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multitask.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is an asset.
