Coffee Specialist

Your responsibilities will include crafting specialty beverages, assisting with food preparation, and processing orders and payments, all while delivering memorable experiences for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate a register/POS system and manage cash and credit transactions.
• Welcome and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to brand standards.
• Assist in food preparation and service in accordance with location standards.
• Count, organize, and balance the cash drawer, complete cashier slips, and make deposits.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up and dismantle coffee stations, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
• Restock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with cash handling is preferred.
• Previous barista experience is advantageous.
• Basic math and counting skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Compliance with the required dress code is necessary.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English and follow recipes.
• Completion of Food Handling Certification as required.

This position may involve physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing.

Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
