We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Beverage Specialist to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing top-notch service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a Point of Sale (POS) System: Accurately process transactions, handle cash and credit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, anticipate their needs, and ensure a positive experience.
- Prepare and Serve Beverages: Prepare specialty drinks, teas, and other beverages according to brand standards and recipes.
- Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Cash Handling and Management: Count, organize, and balance cash drawers, fill out cashier slips, and make deposits as needed.
- Adhere to Cash Handling Policies: Follow Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and security.
- Maintain a Clean and Sanitary Work Environment: Set up and break down coffee bars, stations, or stores, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces.
- Stock and Inventory Management: Restock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments as needed.
- Health, Safety, and Sanitation: Follow guidelines for all products, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for guests and team members.
- Previous Customer Service Experience: Preferred, but not required.
- Previous Cash Handling Experience: Preferred, but not required.
- Previous Experience as a Barista: Preferred, but not required.
- Basic Math and Counting Skills: Required.
- Ability to Work Independently: Required, with limited supervision.
- Ability to Follow Dress Code: Required, as assigned by management.
- Ability to Read and Communicate in English: Required, and ability to follow recipes.
- Food Handling Certification: Required, as needed.
