Position: Customer Service Representative / Inside Sales

Role Overview: As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients with a variety of inquiries and challenges. Your expertise will help foster long-term business relationships through consistent communication and support. In this position, you will be essential in addressing customer needs promptly, particularly during critical equipment failures, by delivering the appropriate parts and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to customers via phone and in-person interactions.
  • Facilitate the procurement of necessary parts for clients.
  • Engage with customers to understand their requirements, conduct research, and recommend suitable products.
  • Achieve and surpass monthly sales targets while enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present quotes to clients.
  • Process orders efficiently.
  • Deliver exceptional post-order support.
  • Measure specifications for a variety of parts as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in inside sales or customer service; experience in parts counter or industrial distribution is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including proficiency in English grammar.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience with SAP or ERP systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial distribution products and hydraulics is a plus.
