Job Overview

At ADAPT Community Network, we are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an integral part of our operations, you will provide administrative support to our Program Director and other staff members, ensuring the smooth functioning of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of Administrative Assistants, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff members, promoting a culture of learning and development.
  • Manage office supplies, maintain inventory, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Handle incoming mail and packages, distributing them to the relevant staff members.
  • Record attendance and track staff vacations, sick leave, and time-off requests.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring confidentiality and security.
  • Perform photocopying, setting up coffee and refreshments for meetings, and other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or secretarial training preferred.
  • At least three years of related work experience, with a strong background in administrative support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures, including business correspondence and record-keeping systems.
