Job Overview

Rittal LLC is seeking a skilled Logistics Engineer to support operations and drive analytical assessments of material flow, storage types, and logistics processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and warehousing, with experience in process optimization and project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement logistics and warehousing strategies to deliver competitive advantages to Rittal LLC.
  • Optimize processes and equipment to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Drive projects and process improvements utilizing best project management practices to achieve strategic goals and KPIs.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures for the Warehouse.
  • Continuous improvement of material handling processes.
  • Design of finished goods warehouse storage facility for optimum process efficiency.
  • Support and drive activities around operational excellence through cross-functional, team-based projects.
  • Specify and acquire capital equipment purchases.
  • Support product development activities to specify robust packaging requirements for Rittal Corporation products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of logistics/warehouse experience (required).
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge: Lean Six Sigma (a plus).
  • Procurement and materials management experience (a plus).
  • Knowledge of the ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) (a plus).
  • Experience leading and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office suite required.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
