Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, tankers, and other commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform annual/FHWA inspections on commercial vehicles
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, as well as assisting other mechanics on various assigned tasks
  • Utilize computers for diagnostics, and various computer software systems
  • Accurately completing all task-related paperwork
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • A High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft suite products
  • Able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of the DOT regulations
  • ASE certification desirable, not mandatory
  • Must have your own tools
  • Physically able to lift 60lbs
  • Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for
  • Ability to work on-site as described in the job description
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
