About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Grupo Tradebe. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, tankers, and other commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform annual/FHWA inspections on commercial vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs and maintenance on trucks, trailers, tankers, and other commercial vehicles to ensure they are safe and operational.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work area, and assist other mechanics on various assigned tasks.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Utilize computers for diagnostics, and various computer software systems to identify and resolve issues with commercial vehicles.
  • Administrative Tasks: Accurately complete all task-related paperwork, and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
  • Education: A High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment is required.
  • Skills: Must be proficient with Microsoft suite products, and have knowledge of the DOT regulations.
  • Certifications: ASE certification is desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to lift 60lbs, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
