About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our People Operations team as an Intern. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of employee-led programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, review, and process pre-employment paperwork, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and review background screenings, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Create and maintain accurate employee personnel files, ensuring up-to-date information and compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with tasks related to immigration processes, including Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification and sponsorship of foreign-born workers.
  • Update and maintain HRIS data to ensure accurate payroll processing and employee reporting.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and requests, providing timely and effective support.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Business, Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
