Job Description

tekWorx is a leading supplier of energy optimization solutions for commercial and industrial sites. We are seeking a self-motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a Controls Engineer-HVAC.

The successful candidate will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial assessment and system development to commissioning and training. This role requires a strong understanding of PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and networking for building automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming, installing, and commissioning control systems
  • Troubleshooting skills with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and an understanding of networking for building automation systems
  • Experience with HVAC and BAS systems and equipment for CHW and HHW applications is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and Niagara hardware and software applications is encouraged

Requirements:

  • Applicable Bachelor or Associates degree
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience with programming, installing, and/or commissioning control systems
  • Demonstrated experience and troubleshooting skills with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and an understanding of networking for building automation systems
