Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality patient care in an inpatient and outpatient setting, ensuring a safe and effective experience for all patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive plans of care, incorporating education and family planning.
- Manage complex patient assignments and coordinate with the healthcare team to facilitate communication with patients and families across the continuum of care.
- Conduct self in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
- Master of Science - Advance Practice Nurse Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse, Certified Nurse Midwife or four years of clinical experience in L&D or Women's Health services.
- RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days
- APRN - Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Texas Board of Nursing
- APRN-CNM - Certified Nurse Midwife NP - State Licensure
- AP - Prescriptive Authority - Texas Board of Nursing
- DEA - Narcotics License (DEA) within 6 months
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA)
