Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Midwife to provide high-quality care to obstetrical patients in accordance with approved midwifery protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in midwifery and be able to coordinate, direct, and implement prenatal and postpartum care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order, conduct, and interpret pertinent laboratory and diagnostic studies and procedures.
• Make medical recommendations and/or referrals as needed.
• Formulate, implement, and evaluate an outcome-based treatment plan for patients.
• Maintain accurate records detailing patient treatment plans and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on medical processes, medication, nutrition, and health promotion.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other clinicians to assist in patient treatment.
• Educate nursing students, medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Requirements:

• Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse and APRN – Nurse Midwife.
• Current Nurse Midwife certification.
• ACLS/NRP certification may be obtained post-hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
