Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Scribe to join our team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. As a Clinical Scribe, you will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare providers by accurately and thoroughly documenting patient information in our electronic medical record system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient information, including medical history, physical exams, procedures, and treatments.
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Management: Ensure the EMR is up-to-date and accurate, and perform tasks such as scheduling appointments and printing documents.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to new Clinical Scribes and maintain compliance with hospital and clinic policies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Proficient typing skills, proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication, and ability to learn and use electronic medical record software.
  • Qualifications: Ability to multitask with high attention to detail and trustworthiness, and ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
