Occupational Safety Compliance Specialist

Paragon Staffing, LLC is a leading staffing agency that connects job seekers with top employers. We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Safety Compliance Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Collaborate with employees, management, and external stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
- Investigate and document all accidents, near misses, and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Provide regular reports to management and the Health and Safety Committee on health and safety activities and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health and safety role.
- Experience in an industrial, environmental, and facilities management environment.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $25/hour (dependent on experience).
- Monday-Friday, 6 hours/day.
- Flexible scheduling.
