Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle IP, Inc. in Andover, MA. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment on all systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service, and repair refrigeration systems and equipment, including condensing units, compressors, and evaporators.
  • Perform plumbing, piping, and electrical work, including connecting refrigeration lines and electrical power sources, handling hazardous refrigerant substances, and checking systems and equipment for leaks.
  • Use system blueprints or manufacturers' instructions to complete jobs, and perform pre-start up checks on equipment and adjust as necessary.
  • Read complex blueprints, sketches, and schematics, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or state equivalent required.
  • 2 years of related trade schooling or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working with HVAC/mechanical systems.
  • Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes.
  • Proficient with computer-based systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Skilled and physically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, operate required equipment, and operate a motor vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MA state refrigeration license required.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
