Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled DOT Driver to join our team in Wichita, USA. As a DOT Driver, you will be responsible for making timely deliveries to customers on assigned routes in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive daily Hazmat, Tanker, LTL, or Bulk loads in the local area.
  • Load and/or unload bulk, drummed, or bagged material.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Follow all operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Report all non-conformances as they occur using proper forms.
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner and follow all rules and regulations.
  • Complete all training as required in the Regulatory/Compliance Training Program.
  • Properly use materials such as labels, placards, stenciling, and paint.
  • Properly care for and use all equipment such as forklifts, drum handling equipment, pumps, hoses, etc.
  • Secure dual sign off before transferring any product from one vessel to another.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • A minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience in an industrial/chemical environment.
  • Experience with box vans and tankers required.
  • Current Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements, clean motor vehicle record, ability to meet DOT requirements.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical evaluation and obtain a DOT Medical Card.
  • Must be able to sit and drive for long periods of time.
  • Must have the ability to repeatedly bend, lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 100 pounds; proper lifting techniques required.
  • Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions in the English language.
  • Comfortable with the use of a forklift and general warehouse duties.
  • Knowledge of DOT load securement regulations.
