Job Summary:The Hospital at Home Technician will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care, including clinical assessments, vital sign monitoring, and patient education. This is a casual/per diem position, with a minimum of 12-hour night shifts from 7pm-7am, and minimal shifts over a 7-day week.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct in-home patient care activities, including clinical assessment, vital sign monitoring, and patient education.
- Collaborate with Registered Nurses and other members of the care team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Coordinate equipment and supplies as needed.
- Document patient information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Identify and report patient problems to the care team.
- Transport patients safely, utilizing transport devices as needed.
- Assist patients and families with education and support.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- EMT-B or EMT-P certification.
- Valid driver's license, current auto liability insurance, and annual driving abstract.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
- Community paramedic certification within 24 months of employment.
