Key Responsibilities:
- Animal Handling and Restraint: Safely restrain and manage animals during medical procedures.
- Lab Sample Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze lab samples to aid in medical diagnosis.
- Diagnostic Imaging and Medical Case Management: Assist in diagnostic imaging and manage medical cases under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications to animals as prescribed by a licensed veterinarian.
- Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to provide excellent customer service.
- Surgical Preparation and Assistance: Prepare and assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian.
- Anesthetic Management: Assist in the management of anesthetics during medical procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Must be a licensed veterinary technician with at least 1 year of experience.
- Positive Attitude and Strong Work Ethic: Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets.
- Ability to Interpret Medical Records: Accurately interpret medical records to aid in patient care.
