Veterinary Technician

Valhalla Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering exceptional medical services.

• Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgeries, vaccinations, and dental care
• Collect and analyze laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and fecal samples
• Perform radiology procedures, including X-rays and dental radiographs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, answering questions and addressing concerns
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest medical techniques and technologies

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician or in a related field
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
