Key Responsibilities- Adhere to all sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.
- Assist cooks and servers as needed to ensure seamless service.
- Take lead and direct temporary labor as required to maintain kitchen efficiency.
- Dispose of waste and ensure all items are clean according to sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including monitoring proper tank temperatures and chemicals.
- Record all breakage and complete day-end dishwasher maintenance.
- Clean all soiled items and dispose of broken items in the proper area.
- Remove trash and waste, and clean, sanitize, and close workstations.
- Punch time clock and sign in on time sheets, and check the communication board for announcements and memos.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to ASM Global standards.
- Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure accurate service.
- Be a team player and communicate effectively with all departments.
- Arrive at work in a timely fashion following the posted schedule.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Works in a team environment, communicates effectively, and has an upbeat attitude.
- Multi-tasks efficiently, recognizes and resolves problems quickly and efficiently.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and reliable.
- Must have a professional attitude and appearance, with good hygiene habits.
The physical demands of this role include moving around the facility, standing for long hours during events, talking, and hearing. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
