Job Title: Master Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Mechanic to join our team at the City of Branson. As a Master Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing city vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and repair vehicles and related equipment
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Overhaul engines and transmissions
  • Work under the direct supervision of the Fleet and Service Center Manager
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Vocational/technical school training in automotive or heavy equipment repair
  • Three years of experience in diagnosis, repair, and overhaul of gasoline and diesel internal combustion engines and automotive mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) Certification
  • One to two years of welding experience
  • A Class A or B CDL license
Working Conditions:

This position requires work to be performed onsite at the City of Branson Service Center. Occasional after-hours work may be required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The starting hourly wage is $23.71 per hour, with a increase to $24.66 per hour after 6 months of successful probation. Please click on this link for complete compensation and benefits information.
