Salary: $61,134 - $146,039 per year (dependent on experience)

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment and placement team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive advisory services to assigned organizations within the Air Force. Your duties will include reviewing and analyzing recruitment requests, coding and reviewing personnel actions, participating in special initiatives and projects, and performing a range of staffing advisory services.

Responsibilities:
  • Receives, reviews, and analyzes recruitment requests and supporting documentation from serviced organizations
  • Codes and reviews all types of complex personnel actions
  • Participates in special initiatives, studies and projects, and affirmative employment activities
  • Performs a full range of staffing advisory services to organizations serviced

Requirements: To qualify for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, GS-0201. You must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-09, or equivalent in other pay systems.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Federal HR recruitment, placement, and affirmative employment concepts, principles, regulations, programs, and practices. You should also have knowledge of other HR processes sufficient to relate recruitment and placement issues to them. Additionally, you will need skill in applying established principles, provisions, laws, regulations, practices, and techniques of staffing and recruitment.
