We are seeking a highly skilled Production Operator to join our team at PrideStaff. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading startup and production operations on blending, encapsulation, and packaging lines.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure proper and efficient startup at each shift to meet production demands.
- Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment to ensure proper production of product, adhering to quality standards.
- Verify that scales are calibrated and equipment is prepared before production runs to prevent errors.
- Monitor product fill levels and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality control.
- Inspect and monitor product quality, including pouch fill heights, lot codes, labels, and pouch quality, to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Clean production areas and surfaces as required to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Package product into containers according to customer specifications, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Follow cGMP guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary to support the production team.
- Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing production line facility.
- Minimum High School Education or equivalent; technical school training and education required.
- Basic math, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
- Ability to follow GMP and SOP guidelines to maintain quality and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve production goals.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions to perform daily tasks efficiently and independently.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to move equipment and materials as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time to monitor production lines.
Ability to work in various temperatures, including cold storage areas.
Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as scrubs, hair net, lab coat, and facemask.
Ability to work in a packaging area with a moderate powder substance in the air, with or without a respirator.
Other physical requirements include frequent squatting, bending, twisting, and bi-lateral wrist movement.
Ability to work around a variety of different smells and aromas.
Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require.
