We are looking for a dedicated professional to enhance our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. In this capacity, you will be crucial in delivering accurate financial assessments and utilizing various reporting tools to streamline and improve data collection and analysis methods. Your contributions will extend beyond financial reporting, providing vital support across multiple activities to enhance our operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute thorough cost evaluations and generate detailed reports to facilitate financial decision-making and uncover cost-reduction opportunities.
- Support month-end closing processes, ensuring the precise and timely completion of financial documentation and reports.
- Prepare and verify account reconciliations to guarantee accuracy and address any discrepancies.
- Analyze weekly and monthly labor efficiency metrics, offering insights to improve workforce productivity.
- Oversee and maintain financial databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for analytical purposes.
- Conduct various financial statement analyses to assess performance, trends, and overall financial health.
- Assist in the analysis, tracking, measurement, and reporting of financial and operational data, providing valuable insights to both Operations and Finance teams.
Education & Experience:
- A University Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field, or in the absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status).
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in systems such as WEBI, SAP, Business Analyzer, Access, and Excel.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Prior experience in Accounting/Finance across various disciplines (e.g., program finance, functional-area finance, rates & budgets, material accounting, labor accounting, direct accounting, and overhead accounting).
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or CORE.
