The Provider Enrollment Specialist is responsible for initiating, overseeing, and managing the credentialing process with various insurance payers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and their staff to facilitate the timely completion of enrollment processes, which is essential for the financial health of the employed physicians and practices.
- Guide prospective providers through the credentialing process, ensuring they understand the licensure requirements set forth by State and Federal regulations.
- Monitor compliance for each provider regarding health plan enrollment, coordinating and compiling necessary data for the re-credentialing process.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree. A minimum of one year of experience in a related field is also necessary.
