JOB OVERVIEW:
Complete Staffing is seeking skilled Patient Billing Representatives for a prominent healthcare facility. Candidates should possess a minimum of one year of experience in physician billing.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensure accurate billing and collection of receivables.
2. Utilize various software systems, including Epic, to manage patient accounts.
3. Analyze billing and denial data for discrepancies.
4. Communicate with insurers, employers, patients, and internal departments to resolve outstanding accounts.
5. Conduct insurance verifications.
6. Monitor accounts receivable for all commercial and third-party claims.
7. Identify and rectify billing errors, resubmitting claims as necessary.
8. Review remittance advice for payment discrepancies, denials, and underpayments.
9. Contact insurance carriers or patients to resolve account issues.
10. Track accounts requiring adjustments or write-offs.
11. Verify requests for insurance refunds.
12. Review orders for commercial patients and manage pre-certification processes.
13. Handle incoming calls as required.
14. Process patient payments and establish payment plans as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of high school education, supplemented by specialized training or courses.
A minimum of one year of experience in physician billing is required.
Experience in third-party medical billing with knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD coding is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Excel and Word is advantageous.
