The Job
We are seeking a Parking Lot Attendant to join our team at The Magnolia. As a Parking Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for parking vehicles or issuing tickets for guests in a parking lot area. You will also be responsible for handling cash and collecting payment for parking fees.
Key Responsibilities
- Take numbered tags from guests, locate vehicles, and deliver vehicles, or provide guests with instructions for locating vehicles.
- Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized.
- Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary.
- Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property thefts.
- Greet guests and open their car doors.
- Calculate parking charges and collect fees from guests.
- Issue ticket stubs, or place numbered tags on windshields, and give guests matching tags for locating parked vehicles.
- Lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas.
- Inspect vehicles to detect any damage.
- Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program, which includes implementing programs that conserve resources and prevent waste.
- Partner with fellow team members to close the venue at the end of the show.
Requirements
- One year of previous guest service experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Compensation
The expected compensation for this position is $16.00 USD - $20.00 Hourly.
