The Service Lot Attendant will be responsible for parking vehicles in an orderly manner, moving cars, and coordinating between departments. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspecting vehicles for damage and recording descriptions of damages and missing items.
- Parking cars in assigned areas and maximizing the use of space to maintain a well-organized dealership lot.
- Assisting with Tow In vehicles by taking descriptions of the vehicle and moving them.
- Performing various tasks such as closing/opening gates, moving blockers, locking cars in lube areas, and hanging keys on boards.
- Gas cars and test drive customer cars on occasion.
- Keeping the lot organized and presentable at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid California state sales license.
- Valid Driver's license and safe driving record; required to have California within 30 days.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.
- Excellent driving skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Thorough understanding of traffic regulations, road signs, and routes.
- Regularly stands, walks, sits; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks and hears. Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls; lifts up to 30 pounds.
- Physical ability to drive a vehicle for prolonged periods of time.
- Noise level is moderate.
