Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $115,000 per year, based on skills, experience, and location.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our General Surgery department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of medical records.
  • Developing and implementing individualized patient plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Demonstrating competency in therapeutic interventions such as IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
  • Promoting, advocating, and collaborating to protect patients' rights and safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • A valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
  • A minimum of 1 year of OR RN experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
