Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Manager - Civil Engineering Services to lead our team of engineers in the planning, design, and implementation of complex civil engineering projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of civil engineers and technicians in the design and planning of civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, transportation, and site development.
  • Ensure all designs and plans are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure the proper implementation of design plans.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring all resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Continually review and improve engineering processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, implementing effective solutions.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A master's degree would be a plus.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site design.
  • Proven experience managing and leading a team of engineers.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in civil engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome project challenges effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • A professional engineering (PE) license is required.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
