Community Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Community Engagement Specialist to join our statewide consumer education and engagement team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in increasing awareness of our services, engaging with diverse community groups, and promoting high-quality child care throughout Arizona.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective community outreach strategies to connect with diverse community groups and stakeholders.
  • Provide consumers with thorough and unbiased information about available child care services, including faith-based and community-based providers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with community members, early educators, leaders, and organizations to increase awareness and understanding of high-quality child care.
  • Collaborate with communities throughout the state, including tribal and military communities, to promote awareness and understanding of high-quality child care that is culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate.
  • Attend, coordinate, and participate in community events, workshops, and meetings to promote awareness and engagement of our services and promote high-quality childcare in Arizona.
  • Utilize technology and program-specific software to analyze and track performance, program activities, and operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Early Childhood Education, Marketing, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution, strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in community engagement, outreach, or a similar role, strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish; oral, reading, and writing ability required.
