Key Responsibilities
  • Practice professional nursing as a registered nurse within the legal and ethical framework established by the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice, ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the YNHHS Professional Practice Model.
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families, incorporating cultural and diversity principles into practice.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to deliver holistic care.
  • Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes, utilizing evidence-based practices and research findings.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire.
  • Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.
Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
