Job Summary

The Fergus Falls Area Family YMCA is seeking a Water Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our aquatic staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our members and guests while enjoying our pool facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Active surveillance of the pool area to maintain safe swimming conditions
  • Create a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement
  • Maintain knowledge of all emergency procedures and respond to emergencies immediately
  • Keep the pool and pool areas clean and clear of any potential hazards
Requirements
  • At least 15 years old
  • American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
  • Complete 15 hours of basic childcare training through Child Care Aware within 90 days of hire
  • Complete CPR/FA Certification for Adult, Child, Pediatrics within 90 days of hire
