Responsibilities- Active surveillance of the pool area to maintain safe swimming conditions
- Create a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement
- Maintain knowledge of all emergency procedures and respond to emergencies immediately
- Keep the pool and pool areas clean and clear of any potential hazards
- At least 15 years old
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
- Complete 15 hours of basic childcare training through Child Care Aware within 90 days of hire
- Complete CPR/FA Certification for Adult, Child, Pediatrics within 90 days of hire
- Free YMCA membership
- Part-time employees begin accruing Sick Leave immediately upon hire and Paid Time Off (PTO) after one year of employment
