Control Systems Specialist

This role is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of a wide variety of control systems that support production equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of control system operation and programming to safely modify, maintain, and interact with the controls portion of these systems.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a safe work environment through identification and correction of unsafe conditions and serving as a role model in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Key responsibilities include:
• Design, installation, programming, documentation, and performing day-to-day troubleshooting and maintenance of numerous types of controllers.
• Operation and control of ultra-high purity gas and liquid chemical delivery systems that serve key production areas.
• Operation and maintenance air sampling analysis systems used to detect chemical leaks in the vicinity of more than 200 monitoring points.
• Operation and control of four scrubber systems that are used to abate emissions of toxic gases and particulate matter from manufacturing processes in the plant.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, with preferred areas of study including Electrical Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Prior experience working with Allen Bradley Process Logix Controllers (PLC), RSLogix's, Wonderware, and other logic controller software and human machine interface applications is also required.
