Job Title: Physical Therapist

Verland is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at the Sewickley campus. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapeutic and maintenance-based services to our residents. The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy, current national board certification, and PT licensure with the state of Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized physical therapy services to residents with significant physical and intellectual disabilities.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic plans of care to maximize client functioning and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • Train staff on therapeutic recommendations and monitor client progress.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including 90-day reviews and procedures, annual assessments, and observations.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent educational requirement.
  • Current national board certification and PT licensure with the state of Pennsylvania.
  • 1+ years of PT experience with this client population preferred.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems, email communication, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
  • Act 33 and Act 34 clearances, and a valid driver's license.
