Job Title: Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at The Verland Foundation Inc. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing skilled therapeutic and maintenance-based services to our residents. This includes establishing and carrying out therapeutic programming to maximize the client's level of functioning and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Provide 1:1 client treatment, create individualized home programs, and train staff on therapeutic recommendations.
  • Support care delivery in accordance with facility/departmental/regulatory/payor policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the nursing staff to obtain necessary medical paperwork and facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to intervention.
  • Participate in infection control, regulatory compliance, organizational safety, and fire safety programs.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent educational requirement.
  • Current national board certification and PT licensure with the state of Pennsylvania.
  • 1+ years of PT experience with this client population is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems, email communication, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
