This role involves responsibilities such as:
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, both over the phone and in person, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members while also demonstrating the ability to work independently to uphold high standards of care.
• Manage high call volumes with professionalism and efficiency, including cross-training in various tasks to support organizational needs.
• Communicate financial obligations to patients and accurately collect and document copayments as necessary.
• Engage in training for insurance verification, benefits eligibility, and precertification for in-house procedures.
• Conduct registration tasks for both new and returning patients.
• Schedule patient appointments according to established guidelines and finalize daily patient schedules.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
