Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain precise order status and stock tracking within the database.
- Develop and execute strategies for efficient hardware inventory management.
- Implement comprehensive asset tagging processes.
- Oversee the custodianship of capital equipment within the Property Management tracking system.
- Notify Capital Management to initiate depreciation upon equipment deployment.
- Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and relocations of assets within storage areas.
- Conduct quarterly inventories to ensure accurate asset records.
- Foster strong customer service relationships with various teams to support hardware management.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Serve as the escalation point for capital property management inquiries and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in Asset Management, Inventory Management, Property Management, or Logistics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- U.S. citizenship is required for access to classified information.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong customer interaction and communication skills.
- Aptitude for detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with IT asset lifecycle management.
- Certification in IT Asset Management (IAITAM preferred).
- Experience with Jira.
