Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Accountant to join our Revenue team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be the lead representative in the Revenue transactional flow accounting needs, including reconciliations, journal entries, exception monitoring and analysis, data integrity, reporting disclosures, and process automation. You will work closely with international accounting teams for cross-trainings, month-end close, reporting disclosures, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support month-end close processes and ensure accurate recording of balances in our General Ledger and financial statements.
  • Perform fluctuation analysis and identify changes in accounts to ensure accurate recording in our GL and financial statements.
  • Support key reporting disclosures and regulatory filings, including US GAAP standards and ASC 606.
  • Review new deals and ensure revenue recognition is recorded accurately in accordance with US GAAP standards.
  • Identify process improvement areas and work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Treasury, Compliance, FinOps, and Data teams to drive automation and improvements in reporting.
  • Provide reporting requirements to cross-functional partners and validate that it is complete and accurate for existing and new product launches.
  • Assist with relevant SOX, audit, and tax requirements.
  • Perform special accounting analysis and projects as requested.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of accounting experience.
  • Big 4 experience and CPA preferred.
  • Direct experience performing detailed and data-intensive reconciliations.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and experience/familiarity with ASC 606 concepts.
  • A passion for process improvement and automation.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, a proactive and self-motivated working style, ability to work collaboratively and multi-task, and creativity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and ensure tasks are completed timely.
  • High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite.
