Senior Litigation Counsel

The Senior Trial Attorney is essential in steering the complete litigation journey, from the initial filing stage to the final verdict.
This role encompasses managing Commercial Property and Liability (CPL) cases, ensuring adherence to established standard operating procedures (SOPs), and adeptly preparing pre-litigation matters for court proceedings.
In this capacity, the attorney will report to supervising attorneys and/or the firm's partners, taking on a supervisory role over litigation assistants, paralegals, and CPL case managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess potential litigation clients and conduct thorough case law research.
- Maintain and manage comprehensive case records while coordinating with insurance providers.
- Draft essential legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
- Prepare for and actively participate in mediations under the guidance of supervising attorneys.
- Negotiate settlements and conduct interviews and depositions of witnesses.
- Advocate effectively in trials and prepare clients for depositions.
- Provide legal counsel to clients and investigate coverage issues.
- Engage in medical management on behalf of clients.
Throughout these diverse responsibilities, the Senior Trial Attorney will foster a collaborative environment, working closely with supervising attorneys to ensure the effective management of litigation cases.
