About the Job

As a Technical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining IT hardware and software required for theater operations. This role involves working as part of a remote team for project rollouts and providing support for escalations. You will have the opportunity to enhance and expand your technology skills with hands-on implementation in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to assigned theaters to complete new installations, upgrades, preventative maintenance, and projects.
  • Work from home on various projects using company-provided computer and phone when not traveling.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain servers, network equipment, digital signage, and digital cinema (TMS) equipment.
  • Collaborate with Cinemark's TOP Support Center to provide escalated troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Work closely with Theater managers on proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
Requirements
  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10 and Windows Server).
  • The ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • A valid Driver's License and personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
  • Preferred Requirements:
    • A Technical or Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
    • IT Certification(s) related to the position.
    • A good understanding of Cisco networking.
    • Experience with Cinema equipment including computer systems, POS, Projection, and other systems.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work independently.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year based on location and experience.
