This role is essential for managing the creation and upkeep of Service Tooling within Vestas Americas (AME) forecast and delivery strategy for the supply chain.

This is achieved through the evaluation, development, and administration of plans for both existing and new Service locations. The position places a strong focus on the continuous optimization of resources across Service Tooling in Vestas Americas (AME) to fulfill both internal and external business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute SAP business operations.
  • Develop and oversee production timelines and activities to ensure that both internal and external customer needs are satisfied, including daily data management.
  • Guarantee sufficient quantity and timing of materials and product inventory within the supply chain to achieve organizational targets.
  • Analyze factors such as types and quantities of items produced, materials utilized, scrap amounts, defect frequencies, and production rates of workers and departments.
  • Collaborate with departments to coordinate all production and shipping tasks, addressing complaints and eliminating delays.
  • Enhance and advocate for planning processes within the tools warehouse.
  • Implement innovative forecasting and planning methodologies.
  • Develop tools purchasing forecasts.
  • Oversee master planning for tools demand.
  • Drive improvement processes for tools utilization, including rental calculations and performance assessments.
  • Provide input for the creation of tools budgets.
  • Manage the investment process, generating investment requests based on budgetary constraints or approved business cases.
Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in production planning, inventory management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience with SAP or ERP/MRP software for supply chain and inventory management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with management tools such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma is advantageous.
  • Open-mindedness and proficiency in sharing and gathering information within a team setting.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing teamwork.
  • International experience in a diverse, multicultural environment is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Proficient in identifying and resolving issues.
  • Competencies include effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with others.
  • Capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
