POSITION SUMMARY:
Comtech Systems, Inc. (CSI) is seeking a dedicated Field Service Representative (FSR) to develop and implement communication requirements and design protocols. This role involves providing comprehensive operations and maintenance support for satellite communication solutions across various locations, both CONUS and OCONUS. The FSR will be responsible for the setup, configuration, implementation, and management of systems, ensuring effective troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues faced by customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement communication requirements and design standards.
- Deliver operations and maintenance support for satellite communication solutions in diverse locations.
- Oversee the setup, configuration, implementation, and management of systems, addressing customer technical challenges.
- Conduct technical diagnostics and provide resolution support for subsystems, including line monitoring and LAN performance assessments.
- Facilitate hardware and software installation and configuration.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Strong judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a high degree of professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Possession of a valid US passport is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance.
SECURITY CLEARANCE:
Applicants must be capable of obtaining and maintaining the required security clearance for assigned tasks.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years in a similar role or related field.
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, candidates may possess an Associate's degree combined with 7 years of relevant specialized experience.
