Job Summary

The University of Bridgeport is seeking a skilled Transfer Admissions Officer to join our team. As a key member of our admissions department, you will be responsible for recruiting prospective students, facilitating admission requirements, and providing support and guidance throughout the enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and engage with prospective students to promote the University's academic programs and services.
  • Assess student needs and present information on how the University can benefit their personal, academic, and professional goals.
  • Manage office priorities, including student outreach and follow-up, reviewing applications, and executing weekend tours and information sessions.
  • Review and make decisions on applications for transfer students, ensuring a smooth and efficient enrollment process.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Aid Office to provide information on the application process and schedule appointments as needed.
  • Conduct all work in a safe manner, adhering to University safety practices and protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; 6 months of experience in admissions, customer service, or sales preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and insured vehicle required.
