About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Buffalo Center, a 200-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in Buffalo, New York.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to residents and their families
  • Administer medication and treatments, and monitor residents' health and well-being
  • Document patient care services and maintain accurate records
  • Protect residents and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to resolve patient problems and needs
  • Ensure quality of care by adhering to facility philosophies and standards of care
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and respect their dignity and independence
Requirements
  • Must be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current New York State RN License
  • Long-term care experience preferred
  • Solid computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
