Responsibilities
- Assist the manager in leading, developing, and motivating the sales team while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Support overall store operations, ensuring accountability for personal and store sales, as well as the development of a high-performing team.
- Effectively manage customer flow in the store and minimize wait times.
- Stay informed about all products, services, and promotions, and aid the Store Manager in educating the team.
- Ensure the store is adequately staffed at all times.
- Assist the Store Manager in recruiting new talent.
- Maintain store appearance and compliance with merchandising standards.
- Support store operations and adhere to guidelines set by T-Mobile and Verge Mobile, including merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service (wireless retail experience preferred).
- Familiarity with wireless industry standards and technology is advantageous.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in sales and sales management.
- Operational and financial management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to build trusting relationships.
- Exhibits a positive, supportive, and cooperative attitude.
- Team-oriented, capable of collaborating with staff and leadership while serving customers and resolving issues.
- Ability to balance customer needs with performance objectives.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
