- Ensures cleanliness of vehicles and disposes of trash at the end of each workday
- Assists crew chiefs with houseline surveying tasks accurately
- Supports crew chiefs in conducting topographic, tree, and wetland surveys
- Aids crew chiefs with boundary and ALTA survey tasks
- Assists in construction staking services under crew chief supervision
- Helps crew chiefs with the preparation of record drawings
Educational Background:
High School Diploma with 0-2 years of relevant experience
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver's license required
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary to meet project deadlines
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Capable of making independent decisions within a general framework
- Strong desire to enhance field skills and survey knowledge
- Fluency in the English language is mandatory
Must be able to read reports and operate a computer. The role requires standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, and grasping. Outdoor work is essential. Must be able to write, type, and use a phone system. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Ability to assist with cutting brush and trees is necessary.
