Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As an Imaging Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the radiology department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments, develop plans of care, and implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and in keeping with current clinical nursing practice.
  • Direct, monitor, and evaluate the care delegated to non-licensed personnel.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.
  • Assume responsibility for patient specimen testing, quality control, quality improvement, and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of nursing experience required.
  • 2 years of critical care or imaging experience preferred.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
