Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
  • Implement and evaluate care plans, making revisions as needed
  • Consult and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, evaluate, and revise care plans
  • Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy
  • Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff as appropriate
  • Provide pre- and post-operative patient care
  • Provide education to patients and families on care and treatments
  • Facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team
Requirements
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Imaging or Critical Care
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – preferred
