Job Summary:

The Senior Clinical Nurse Coordinator plays a pivotal role in coordinating the total care for a group of patients throughout their stay, driving clinical, financial, and organizational outcomes. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, as the Senior Clinical Nurse Coordinator will mentor and manage clinical staff to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient care to achieve clinical, financial, and organizational objectives
  • Mentor and manage clinical staff to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Serve as a clinical expert and manage complex patient cases
  • Assume responsibility for unit operations in the absence of the Nurse Manager

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of Maryland
  • At least three years of experience in the practice specialty
  • Certification in clinical area of specialty preferred

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $182,000 and $278,000, depending on equity and experience. Compensation discussions will occur during candidate screening calls.
